‘London Calling’ 40th Anniversary Celebrations Begin With The Clash Exhibition at the Museum of London
The 40th anniversary celebrations for The Clash’s seminal ‘London Calling’ album are officially underway with the opening of the ‘The Clash: London Calling’ exhibition at the Museum of London.
The exhibition includes one of Joe Strummer’s notebooks from 1979 that contains the hand written lyrics to an early draft of ‘London Calling’, originally titled ‘Ice Age’, along with Joe’s personal typewriter that he used to document ideas, lyrics and other writings.
The exhibition is free and runs until April 19th 2020.
