Global a Go-Go is the second album by Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros and displays Joe’s trademark genre-melding music and unique lyrical style. As the title suggests, there are a lot world music influences on the album that celebrate, in particular, London’s multi-cultural diversity. The title track, ‘Global A Go-Go’, features backing vocals from Joe’s longtime friend, Roger Daltrey of The Who.
ROCK ART AND THE X-RAY STYLE

Rock Art and the X-Ray Style is the debut album by Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros. Released in 1999, this record marked Joe's re-emergence from a long absence in the music scene since 1989's Earthquake Weather. Uncut Magazine gave the album a 5 Star review and called it a “Triumphant return by the former Clash legend.” The album includes the singles ‘Tony Adams’ and ‘Yalla Yalla’. The track ‘Road to Rock and Roll’ was originally written by Strummer for Johnny Cash, with whom Joe later recorded with in 2001.
EARTHQUAKE WEATHER

Released in 1989, Earthquake Weather was Joe Strummer’s highest charting solo album and his first-ever album under his own name following the break-up of The Clash. Recorded in Los Angeles, his backing band for the album, christened the Latino Rockabilly War by Strummer, featured Zander Schloss from Circle Jerks and drummer Jack Irons from Red Hot Chili Peppers & Pearl Jam. The album features the singles ‘Gangsterville’ and ‘Island Hopping’.

Joe Strummer’s soundtrack to Walker was released in 1987 to accompany the Alex Cox film of the same name. Originally released as an LP, Cassette, and CD in 1987 on the Virgin Movie Music label, the album was released, remastered and with bonus tracks in 2005.

‘Love Kills’ was the lead track from the soundtrack to the 1986 Sid and Nancy movie starring Gary Oldman as the Sex Pistols bassist Sid Vicious. It was Joe’s first release as a solo artist after the Clash split in the mid-1980s.

London Calling is the third studio album by from The Clash. It was originally released in the UK on 14 December 1979 and in the United States in January 1980. The album has sold over five million copies worldwide. A widespread critical success, Rolling Stone named ‘London Calling’ as the greatest album of the 1980s, and it has been credited with making punk credible and bringing it to the masses.

Give 'Em Enough Rope is the Clash’s second studio released on 10 November 1978. It was the band’s first album released in the United States. The album peaked at number two in the UK album chart and number 128 on the Billboard 200.

Sandinista! is the Clash’s fourth studio album. Released as a triple album on 12 December 1980, it contains 36 tracks that embrace funk, reggae, jazz, gospel, folk, dub, r&b, calypso, dance and hip-hop. The album title refers to the Sandinistas in Nicaragua and its catalogue number, 'FSLN1', refers to the abbreviation of the party's Spanish name, Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional.
Rolling Stone has named the album as one of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

Combat Rock is the fifth studio by The Clash. Released on 14 May 1982, the album charted at number 2 in the UK, spending 23 weeks in the UK charts, and peaked at number 7 in the United States, spending 61 weeks on the chart. Combat Rock is the group's best-selling album, being certified double platinum in the United States. It contains two of The Clash's most popular songs, the singles ‘Rock the Casbah’ and ‘Should I Stay or Should I Go’.

Cut the Crap is the sixth and final studio album by The Clash. Released in 1985 it features the single ‘This Is England’, which director Shane Meadows referenced when he named his movie and TV show This is England after the song and centered on young skinheads and Oi! punks in England in 1980s.

From Here to Eternity: Live is a live album by The Clash released on 4 October 1999. The compilation of live recordings span the band’s career from a number of different shows. Some of the recordings featured in the film Rude Boy and it includes many of the band’s most well-known songs, including ‘I Fought The Law’, ‘London Calling’, and ‘Straight To Hell’.

The Clash Live at Shea Stadium was recorded at the famous Shea Stadium in New York City on 13 October 1982, which was the band’s second night opening for the Who. The original recordings were unearthed by Joe while packing for a move.

ELGIN AVENUE BREAKDOWN REVISITED

The 101ers were Joe Strummer’s first band before joining The Clash. Elgin Avenue Breakdown is a compilation album of live and studio tracks recorded during Joe’s pre-Clash days. Released in 1981 it was a semi-unofficial release due to Joe Strummer's contractual obligations with The Clash and CBS. The album was reissued in 2005.
